The 19th European System, Software & Service Process Improvement and Innovation (EuroSPI) conference presented and discussed results from systems, software and services process improvement and innovation (SPI) projects in industry and research, focusing on the gained benefits and the criteria for success. This year's event was the 19th of a series of conferences to which international researchers and professionals contribute their lessons learned and share their knowledge as they work towards the next higher level of software management professionalism.

On June 25th, six workshops have been established. Each workshop lasted a whole day, including industry and research key note speakers and allowed participants to contribute actively. The results of the workshops have been outlined in workshop summaries concluding discussions and providing new ideas. The main conference from June 26th to June 27th featured three invited speakers: Helmut Zauchner (KTM-Sportmotorcycle AG, Austria), Taz Daughtrey (James Madison University, Computer Science Department, USA), and G√ľnther Spork (MAGNA Powertrain, Austria), who will share their insights.

To incorporate academia and industry the conference provided 6 research sessions and 12 industry experience sessions. In addition the program included two social events and a best paper ceremony.

Note that this conference was organized by ICSN Austria/Ireland, the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Software Engineering Integration for Flexible Automation Systems (CDL-Flex) at the Institute of Software Technology and Interactive Systems (Local Organization), and TermNet, Austria (Local Organization).
